Delivery and refunds

Every pattern sold here is a digital PDF. Nothing is posted to you and there are no shipping costs.

As soon as your payment completes you are taken to a page with your download links on it, and the same links are emailed to the address you used at checkout. If the email has not arrived within a few minutes, check your spam folder, then get in touch and I will resend it.

Download links stay valid for 30 days and allow up to 10 downloads each. That is deliberately generous - it is there to stop links being shared publicly, not to catch you out. Save the PDFs to your own device or cloud storage and you will have them forever.

Because patterns are delivered instantly and cannot be returned, digital downloads are not generally refundable once the file has been downloaded.

That said, I would rather you were happy. If a file will not open, a chart will not print correctly, a pattern has an error in it, or you accidentally bought the same pattern twice, email me and I will fix it or refund you. No arguing.

If you have not downloaded the file yet and you have changed your mind, just ask within 14 days and I will refund it.

When you buy a pattern you may print it as often as you like for your own use, stitch it as many times as you like, and give or sell the finished stitched pieces you make from it.

What you may not do is share, resell, or redistribute the PDF itself, or the charts inside it, in any form. The pattern is for you.

If you would like to use a design commercially at scale, or teach from it in a class, email me - I am usually happy to say yes, I would just like to know.

All prices on this site are shown in US dollars. If your card is issued in another currency, Stripe converts at checkout and shows you the amount in your own currency before you confirm.

The Cross Elephant is based in Australia. Any tax that applies to your purchase is calculated and shown at checkout.

I collect the email address you check out with so I can send your downloads, and your name and message if you use the contact form. That is it.

Payments are handled entirely by Stripe. Card details never touch this website and I never see them.

If you join the mailing list, your email is stored so I can send occasional pattern announcements. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask me to delete your details at any time.
